Handover Manager

Job Objective

The Energy & Sustainability Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing sustainability initiatives within our organization. Role will involve assessing environmental impacts, reducing resource consumption, energy saving initiative and driving sustainable practices across various Projects/departments and to play a pivotal role in our commitment to environmental responsibility and social sustainability.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the environmental impact of company operations and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with teams to formulate and execute sustainability strategies that align with corporate objectives and industry best practices
  • Identify and implement innovative technologies and practices to reduce energy, water, and resource consumption across the organization
  • Stay informed about relevant environmental regulations and ensure the company's adherence to these standards by developing and updating sustainability policies and procedures
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, fostering awareness and cooperation to promote sustainability goals
  • Collect, analyze, and report on sustainability metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Sustainable real estate practices, minimizing carbon footprints, conserving natural resources, and reducing waste are paramount
  • Incorporation of energy-efficient building designs, utilization of renewable energy sources such as solar panels, initiatives to lower utility costs and integration of smart technologies
  • Green Spaces and Landscaping- initiatives on improve the landscape aesthetics, improving air quality, biodiversity and the overall well-being of the community
  • Focus on implementing water-efficient fixtures, and drought-resistant landscaping to effectively reduce water consumption and encourage responsible water management practices
  • Waste Management recycling programs, using of sustainable building materials, advocates for waste reduction practices and minimizing the environmental footprint.
  • Community Engagement, Initiatives in promoting eco-friendly lifestyles, sustainability education, and active participation in green initiatives cultivate a sense of communal responsibility and environmental stewardship
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s policies, rules and procedure related to sustainability program, Health, Safety and Environmental Management
  • Perform other tasks that are closely related to the position, as assigned by the Senior Management

Requisite Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred

Experience Requirement

  • Proven experience of minimum 8-10 years in sustainability engineering, environmental management, or a similar role, ideally within a corporate setting
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability frameworks, and industry best practices
  • Proficiency in data analysis, sustainability reporting, and the use of sustainability software and tools
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams, and a passion for advancing sustainability and social responsibility within the organization
