PR & Communication Manager – Marketing

Job Objective

The PR and Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the public perception of RAK Properties. With the increasing importance of consistent messaging and the current gap in Arabic copywriting, this role ensures that our brand image is enhanced, stakeholder communications are managed effectively, and our messaging resonates with both English and Arabic-speaking audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all events, ensuring they align with the company's objectives and brand guidelines
  • Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics
  • Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
  • Coordinate all public relations activities
  • Manage media relations, draft press releases, and ensure consistent messaging. Arabic copywriting is a priority to bridge our current communication gap
  • Manage relationships with media houses, journalists, and influencers
  • Draft compelling press releases in both English and Arabic, highlighting company milestones, project launches, and other significant news
  • Create and distribute media kits for major events and launches
  • Respond to media inquiries and arrange interviews, press conferences, and other media interactions
  • Monitor media coverage and report on PR outcomes
  • Assist in the development and execution of internal communication
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure consistent external messaging
  • Draft and edit Arabic content for various communication materials, including press releases, brochures, newsletters, and digital platforms
  • Manage communications with key stakeholders, including shareholders, partners, and regulatory bodies
  • Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in PR and communications to bring innovative ideas and practices to the company
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s policies, rules and procedures related to Health , Safety and Environmental Management

Requisite Qualifications

  • BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline

Experience Requirement

  • At least 5 years of work experience in Public Relations in Real estate. Should be highly self-motivated with a strategic approach to the work and an expert in networking with a firm grasp of the real estate market in UAE

Skill Sets

  • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
  • Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
  • Experience in dealing with company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in handling broadcast/interviews
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • A team player with leadership skills
