Mohammad Sultan Al Qadi— CEO and Managing Director of RAK Properties—wins Top Real Estate CEO in the GCC

RAK Properties, one of the leading property development and tourism infrastructure firms in the UAE, announced that it’s CEO and Managing Director, Mohammad Sultan Al Qadi has won the Top Real Estate CEO in the GCC at the 2018 edition of the Top CEO Awards.
The Top CEO Awards 2018 was held on April 11th at Bay La Sun Hotel, King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia. The award function is held every year to commemorate the top 100 people that are transforming the Gulf region by creating value for their companies and bringing forth transparency and corporate governance. The Top CEO Awards is the most transparent award in the region. It is also distinctive and exceptional because only companies that are listed on the stock exchanges of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman are evaluated.
The Top Real Estate CEO Award was collected by Mr Mohammed Al Tair, Chief Operating Officer on behalf of Mr Mohammad Sultan Al Qadi, CEO and MD of RAK Properties.

The Top CEO Awards 2018 has a meticulous and crystal clear process based on financial results and performance that sets the flagship event apart as an industry-leading platform. In a wide-ranging ranking process, all of the companies listed on these stock exchanges are evaluated on the basis of performance, growth, goodwill, reputation and good governance. Other parameters include revenues, market capitalization and the company’s evolution over the past 24 months, as well as its size, earnings per share and profits.
The criteria to qualify for the awards was same as last year which included factors like growth, profitability, corporate governance, transparency and accountability. To make it more authentic the process involved evaluation by INSEAD business school and corporate governance institute Hawkamah ensuring that elements of good governance remain an integral part of the overall ranking system. The process was audited by one of the Big Four auditing firms, also assisting in the evaluation of financial statements.
Mohammad Sultan Al Qadi being among the top 100 remarkable CEO’s and winning Top Real Estate CEO in the GCC was recognised based on an evaluation of RAK Properties’ listings on the GCC stock exchange across different categories. The event highlighted their ability to drive a positive change in the fast-changing dynamics of business and for RAK Properties’ proven ability to steer their companies towards profits after overcoming challenges and beating all odds.
