RAK Properties has a Health & Safety policy in compliance with ISO 45001 standard requirements in place as part of the Integrated Management Policy, communicating our commitment to Health & Safety to employees, as well as to all vendors and contractors performing work on behalf of RAK Properties.
RAK Properties recognises that its business operations carry significant risks under ISO 45001. To this end, RAK Properties is committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all our employees and for any individuals who may be affected by our activities. The RAK Properties Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OH&SMS) is designed to provide consistent guidance and instructions for all our activities.
Our policy is set with the following objectives:
- To eliminate hazards and minimize OH&S risks.
- To provide adequate control of the risks arising from our work activities.
- To consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety.
- To provide and maintain safe handling of tools, equipment, facilities, and the use of materials and substances.
- To prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health.
- To maintain safe and healthy working conditions.
- To continually look for ways to improve our OH&S Management System.
- To ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks and are adequately trained.
- To ensure compliance with relevant legislation and other legal requirements related to our operations.
- To set and achieve our ISO 45001 objectives and quantitative targets.
The allocation of duties for safety matters and the particular arrangements which we have made to implement the policy are set out and apply to all employees, tenants, visitors, suppliers, and contractors working in the premises or on behalf of RAK Properties. The policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure ongoing improvement and excellence.
RAK Properties’ Top management demonstrates leadership and commitment to the implementation of the OHS policy, and all staff will work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that they comply with these commitments and achieve the company’s sustainable objectives and targets.

Impact
Through these achievements, we have strengthened trust with our workforce, reduced operational risk, and built a foundation where safety is not a compliance requirement, but a shared value.
Looking Ahead
Our ambition is not just to reach “zero harm” but to promote “positive health” -ensuring that every person who interacts with us leaves in better condition than when they arrived. In the coming year, we will expand our OHS programs to integrate mental health, ergonomic design, and digital safety tracking across all sites.
